RON KNIGHT – sadly RON passed on June 14, 2023

He will always and forever be CEO of Entertainmentfirst
He was a formidable International Singing Sensation – his silky voice and charismatic personality was felt around the world – he truly touched people’s souls – he is sadly missed!!

Ron Knight created Entertainmentfirst in 1999 upon moving to Las Vegas.
CEO of Entertainmentfirst, CEO of Ebonytown Records, International Entertainer and Founder/Creator of the Music and Fashion Expo Las Vegas & Australia.

Born in East Orange, New Jersey, grew up on Daton Street Newark NJ attended Weequahic High, then at 17 moved to California to live and studied music and business in Los Angeles at UCLA and LA City College, from the age of 18yrs Ron started his own band in California (May thru November & Social Security Band), and then moved to Australia at 30 and in 1984 he became a 10x winner on the hit internation show STAR SEARCH where he became famous in AUSTRALIA, then headlined at all 5 major casinos in Australia with his own show and alongside Chelsea Brown as Double Vision.
In 1992 Ron met Kimberley Sanders who became his lead choreographer for NBN television shows that his newly formed group Ron Knight and the Fabulous Daze regularly appeared. They then created a variety show together that lasted 31yrs until Ron passed in 2023.

Ron moved to Las Vegas in 1998, in 1999 Bobby Morris (owner of Worldwide Entertainment in Las Vegas who also acted as Elvis’s agent for many years) became Ron’s manager and launched Ron’s career in Las Vegas at the Showboat Hotel & Casino as their headlining act with Ron Knight and the Fabulous Daze.
Ron played many Casino’s in Las Vegas including: MGM, Monte Carlo, Stratosphere, Sahara, Arizona Charlies – just to name a few………..
and continued to travel internationally to produce live entertainment events, production shows, expos and beauty pageants around the world.

Ron Knight is enjoying a successful International Singing Career that allows him and his show to travel the world with his sensational voice and with 45yrs of experience in the Entertainment and Record Industries he has appeared on many major Television Networks including; Fox TV Network USA, Channel 9, Channel 10 & Channel 3 NBN Australia, he now has the knowledge to pass on to the younger generations who also need to learn the business of Entertainment.

Ron has enjoyed performing with many known celebrities of today’s music and entertainment scenes such as; Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, Chaka Chan, Smokey Robinson, Sam Neill, Isley Brothers, The Temptations, the late Lou Rawls, Sammy Davis Jr., Tony Curtis,  Bobby Womack and had the pleasure of working with the one and only Wolf Man Jack …….and this is just to name a few.

Ron Knight always had a great sense of business and creating platforms for like-minded people to come together to do business together.

EARLY CAREER….
Born in Australia, a classically trained dancer, showgirl, choreographer and event specialist who has travelled the world in her chosen field of dance since she was 18yrs of age, working in Cabaret & Variety Shows throughout Spain, Japan, Australia and the USA.
* 1989, Lloret De Mar, Spain – Gran Palace. Professional Cabaret Dance/Showgirl 1yr contract with Dance International
* 1990, USA Carnival Cruise Lines, ‘Celebration’ – 6month contract as Lead Dancer/Dance Captain and Assistance Cruise Director.
* 1991, Hiroshima Japan – Professional Cabaret Dance 3month Contract for Power Enterprises
* 1992, Kimberley became lead dancer, choreographer, costume designer & show producer for Celebrity International Entertainer Ron Knight after his Star Search Wins making more appearances on major Australian Television, shows and touring nationally then internationally with their own variety show “Ron Knight and the Fabulous Daze”. (then Kimberley Sanders) she became his lead choreographer for NBN television shows that his newly formed group Ron Knight and the Fabulous Daze regularly appeared. 
* 1994-1998, between touring dates, together they also owned and operated the ‘Ebonytown Performing Arts School’ in Port Stephens, Australia, where Kimberley taught dance (ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary) & the basics of modeling.

LAS VEGAS…
* 1998 – 2023, Kimberley held roles as Show Producer/Director of Special Events/Lead dancer/Vocalist/Choreographer/Costume designer for Ron Knight’s Variety Shows and many corporate events.
1999 – 2001 as Ron became a resident headline entertainer in Las Vegas Kimberley was asked to choreograph and costume the 13 piece variety show for the Showboat Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
2003 – 2010 As a smaller 8piece showband the group played most Las Vegas Hotel Properties as ‘Ron Knight and the Daze Band’  including residencies at the MONTE CARLO Hotel & Casino, SAHARA, STRATOSPHERE, BALLY’S & PARIS just to name a few.
* 1999, Kimberley was also appointed VP/Director of Events for ENTERTAINMENTFIRST Inc., founded by Ron Knight,
she assisted in producing special annual events including: ‘The Music and Fashion Expo Las Vegas Event Series’
that ran successfully for 18 years and included the following Beauty Pageants for the event’s final seven years;
* Creator/Director/Founder of the LADY VEGAS INTERNATIONAL 40+ BEAUTY PAGEANT.
* Creator/Director/ Founder/The Miss Las Vegas Classic Beauty Pageant.
* Producing many fashion shows inside her sponsors venues at ECCOCI Boca Park, Bunker Bradley Couture and Anne Fontaine (inside Caesar’s Palace Forum shops) in Las Vegas.
* 2004 – 2008, Kimberley worked alongside with Ron Knight to create two TV Shows for Channel 33 Las Vegas – ‘Keepin’ it Real’ & “Outtacontrol TV” on which they both hosted for 4yrs plus she filmed & edited the Entertainmentfirst Radio Show at RadioZone1.
* 2006 – 2010, Kimberley also worked inside the Las Vegas Convention Center and all Major Hotel convention areas (Venetian H&C, Sands Expo, Mandalay Bay H&C, Delano Hotel, Four Seasons, Bellagio, Paris, Bally’s, Planet Hollywood, MGM Grand H&C) for leading event companies in the US including; Event Partners, PGI Host, and USA Hosts as lead management staff, F&B specialists, transportation, banquets, headliner concerts and a lead special event coordinator that hosted 100,000 + attendees each year.
* 2008 – 2011 Kimberley was Lead Promotions Showgirl for Fitzgeralds H&C, also contracted to host all Slot Machine, Black-Jack & Poker Tournaments for Fitzgeralds H&C, The Plaza H&C, California Club & Four Queens H&C.
* 2011 – 2016 Kimberley created ENTERTAINMENTFIRST SHOWGIRLS and worked for hotels throughout Las Vegas with 8 dancers on staff, creating all showgirl costumes by hand. Kimberley’s design skills led to creating a clothing label “Knight Apparell” designing and making womens clothing and custom orders for hotels with her costumes designs also used by her staff of Entertainmenfirst Showgirls of Las Vegas for corporate events and production shows.
* 2011 – 2020 Ron Knight & the Daze Band was reformed in Australia and 6months out of each year we worked in Australia touring as a
7-8 piece showband
* 2018 – 2023 Knight founded the annual Newcastle Dance Awards – Australia, Dance Scholarship Program.
* 2022 – Kimberley Directed, filmed and edited several on location music videos for Ron Knight’s single releases “That’s Bullshit”, “Ocean” & “Believe in Magic”
* 2020 – 2023 Knight directed, filmed & edited THE ENTERTAINMENTFIRST PODCAST – It’s All about the Music & More
filmed inside I WIN TV Studio alongside VAL TV Network in Las Vegas.
* 2025 – current Kimberley holds a key position as Backstage Manager for the Grammy Award Winning Producer and Sound Engineer Kevin Sucher, for his Residency Yacht Rock Show ‘The Docksiders” inside the 1923 Prohibition Bar, inside the Venetian Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Kimberley’s skill set includes;
Dancing, singing, choreography, live show production for stage & TV, artist management & booking, costume design and creation plus showgirl headpiece creations, flyer/poster & website graphics design, music artist press kit design and concert posters, special event planning, live event production, wedding/live events, music video filming & editing, producing & directing variety shows, dance competitions & beauty pageants.
